I have been on the Southbeach diet for exactly 2 weeks now. The first 2 weeks are by far the worst because you aren't allowed to have any type of carbs, fruits, dairy, or sweets, so basically just meat and vegetables. I probably would have quit after 2 days, but my husband gave me motivational support by saying there is no way I would last more than a day. So here I am after 2 weeks and still going strong! HA! My stubbornness is finally good for something! I have noticed a change in my mood the moment I started. The best words to describe it would probably be moody, emotional, and temperamental. It’s like PMS 24/7, YAY!
